One of the advantages of tidying up cupboards (as any frequent traveller to Narnia will tell you) is the possibility of finding hidden treasure. When the cupboard is really REALLY old, that possibility increases significantly. I recently came across this old Immediate Past Mark Master Mason collar jewel that was donated to Swan Chapter in the same month and year that I was born.

It took two hours to clear one shelf but it felt so satisfying to see it immaculately tidy. I think I’ll have to invent a new Officers Position, possibly called Cupboard Guard. He can stand by the cupboard with a drawn sword to keep of all enemies to tidiness.
