Mark re-installed as Worshipful Master (and told to do it right this time)

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

The first time I was to be installed, I spent most of the time (before and during the ceremony) in a blind panic. I thought it would be a bit better this time…and I was right. I was still panicking, but at least I could see. Perhaps it was with the intention of getting me to focus on something else that the DC placed a maul (pointy side up) on the chair that I was going to sit in.

The Worshipful Master Elect’s Chair

Without a doubt, the highlight of the evening was watching our two new Wardens sitting behind their pedestals in their gauntlets and trying not to grin like Cheshire cats 🙂

The Three Stooges

It was a wonderful evening and, with all these Master Masons lined up behind me, one I should never need to go through again. Indeed, it looks as if our Tyler was instructing our new Inner Guard how to hold the sword at just the right angle so that the Worshipful Master will decapitate himself as he walks through. promotion by Dead-Mans-Boots is still a thing I see.

Just hold it like this before he walks past

EVERYBODY!
